Playstation 4 Revealed!

PS4 with controller (DualShock 4)

Yes guys! Its finally here! The most anticipated gaming console of the generation! Playstation 4! On Monday night Sony revealed the long awaited PS4 at a press conference (E3) and showed some of its most notable game titles. The announcement was made the same day when the Xbox One announcement was made. Sony ended the press conference after revealing that the price for pre-ordering the Playstation 4 will be 399$. The Playstation 4 is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The price of the PS4 is 100$ less than the price announced for Xbox One. This may be a reason the PS4 will have better sales than Xbox One. Company President Andrew House told the audience that the PS4 will be able to play second hand games on the system (which Xbox doesn't). Sony also announced that they have teamed up with Gaikai to develop a cloud based gaming system that will allow users to play PS3 games streamed over the internet on their Playstation 4s. This feature won't be available when the PS4 launches but is planned for 2014. According to Jack Tretton, over 140 games are in development for the PS4 and there will be at least 100 games released in PS4's first year. Some of the confirmed PS4 games are - Killzone: Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Infamous: Second Son, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. There are 66 confirmed games for the PS4 in total. I don't know about India but the PS4 is releasing in mid November in the U.S.A.
The Playstation 4 is well designed and creatively crafted. It has a simple yet modern design - slim, light and high-style. The body of the PS4 has been divided into four sections as if four blocks have been stacked together as a single piece. The body will have a disc slot, some buttons, power indicator and a vent in the slim space between the sections at the back. The internal design of the PS4 is as awesome as the body.

Five Awesome Alternative App Stores For Andoid

There are numerous benefits of having an alternative for downloading apps on your Android phone. Individual App stores allow you to download apps without creating an account and provide you with APK (Application PacKage) files. Its pretty useful for those who don't have an internet connection on their phones. You can download the apps to your PC and then transfer them to your android device through a USB cable, Bluetooth or anything.
If you have a cheap unbranded Android phone (No offense meant) which doesn't can't access the Google Play store for some reasons, these alternative app stores will come to the rescue. These app stores have almost all of the apps available on Google Play store and also have some apps which the Play store doesn't.

1. GetJar
GetJar is one of the most popular alternative app stores around these days. It has appsolutely everything! It provides apps for Android, iOS, Symbian and even BlackBerry. While starting GetJar, it asks you your phone model (just like Play store does) and will only display apps that are compatible with your phone. The homepage shows the newest and popular apps (again, just like Play Store). Apps are put under categories which have sub-categories, making it easy for us to locate apps. When you download an app from GetJar, you receive a code for the app. Then, you need to go to GetJar's mobile site from your phone or tablet and use the "Quick Download" option to enter the code. The APK file will be sent to your device. GetJar also has several apps that developers have uploaded on it themselves.

2. Opera Mobile Store
Have you ever noticed the Opera Mobile Store icon in the Speed Dial panel while using the Opera browser?  It is another alternative for Play store and supports all the major platforms. The homepage of the Opera Mobile Store has a ribbon on top displaying tabs for platforms including Android, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Java, Symbian, iPhone and HTML 5. Select the platform you want and the apps available on it will be displayed. When you click on an app, you will see the summary, device requirements and ratings. The Opera Mobile Store can be accessed phone and also your PC which you can use to download and tranfer the APK file to your phone.

3. SlideME
Apart from containing the apps from Play store, SlideME also has apps uploaded by developers that are not on the official store. The store offers a filter for sorting apps and arranging them by price, popularity, rating, etc. and also provides additional details for apps such as - does the app require a Google account, Which Android versions does it support and whether the device needs to be rooted. Apps can be download by scanning the QR code with your device, which takes you to the site from where you can directly download the app on you phone.

4. NeXva
NeXva is another multi-platform app store. It has the same features like all of the above, including categories, availability on all platforms and information about apps. When you download an app from NeXva, you are given three options- one will send the link to your email from where you can download the app, the second will provide you a link to download the app to your phone. The last and the most convenient option is to scan the QR code of the app, just like in SlideMe.

5. Handango
Handango has been on the internet since 1999. Because of its long history, it has apps available on every platform and also for Palm OS. Options to download apps are similar to the other app stores. You can either have the link sent to you by Email or download the APK file to your PC.

YouTube Gets Greedy

Our favorite, one and only, YouTube has started charging money for subscribing to some channels. I guess that the money they earn from online advertisements is not enough for them. YouTube has finally made this decision after years of experimenting ways of earning revenue. Malik Ducard, YouTube's director of content partnerships says "This is just the beginning". Maybe this guy just wants to tell us that there are going to be a lot more paid channels coming on YouTube. Now that they have introduced paid channel subscriptions, it is quite possible that TV shows, movies and even TV channels may get to YouTube, making the website a step closer to cable TV.
With this move, YouTube will surely earn a lot of money and compete with paid video websites like Hulu and Netflix which have millions of paying customers. It has been announced that YouTube will keep slightly less than half of the revenue generated by paid channels.
Prices of each paid channel start from US$ 0.99. Unfortunately, none of these channels will be available in India.
For a list of the paid channels on YouTube, here is a link:

BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) coming to iOS and Android

BlackBerry has done the most unimaginable thing to do. BBM, one of the most popular messaging apps, which was only made for BlackBerry devices, will also be available on iOS and Android devices this year. The BlackBerry Messenger will also be upgraded with new features such as "Channels" that companies and brands can use to send updates to users who subscribe to them.
The BBM announcement was made at the end of a two-hour keynote speech at BlackBerry's annual Live developer conference. Thorsten Heins, the CEO of BlackBerry, said that BBM has 60 million active users who are sending more than 10 billion messages per day.
The phone makers also announced that they would work on pre-installing BBM on some phones but no company names have been mentioned yet. Rumors have been ignited that BBM will be available on the Android Play Store from 27th June, but Blackberry has not made an official confirmation about the release date yet.
I guess that this stupid move will weaken one of BlackBerry's last remaining attractions and BlackBerry will soon be totally dominated by other smartphone companies. It is also not sure that BBM will do well in the Play Store or with tough competition from WhatsApp, and Viber.
Over the years, the popularity of BBM has decreased a great deal, right now it has an active user base of around 61 million users but WhatsApp has a user base close to 200 million.

People Not To Mess With

Introduction

The world is full of stubborn and arrogant assholes who think they can mess with who ever they want. These guys think they are unbeatable but as we all know these are the ones who get their asses kicked at the end. If
you are one of these kind of guys and you are reading this, you better continue reading. This post may save you from the dangers that await you in the future.
I myself was one of the stubborn idiots a year ago, but I learnt the most valuable lesson in life when I messed with the wrong guys. So, in this post I am going to warn you about these people and advise you, so that you can stay safe.

Mafia
The Mafia are a worldwide criminal organization. Members of the mafia, can be anywhere around you and you won't even know it. It is quite possible that some of your family members may be in the mafia too (If you live in Italy or U.S.A). This basically means that you aren't safe anywhere. If you want to avoid the Mafia, stay away from handsome men dressed in formals like tuxedos and who have an Italian accent. This is the description that suits a mafia gangster the best.

Yakuza
Yakuza, just like the Mafia, are another organization. Yakuza are spread out all over Asia, so if you live somewhere in Asia, and you want to be secure, don't stay around heavily tattooed people with fit bodies. The Yakuza mainly operate in Japan and they always carry a deadly sword (katana) which they keep hidden in their clothing. So you better not act like a wild boblo when they are around unless you want to get sliced up like a chicken.
Tip: Do not, I mean "DO NOT" mess with people who you think are related to Yakuza, they will call for backup immediately.

Indian Gaoties
Gaoti- Uncivilized rowdy villager
These are one of the most dangerous people I have come across. Not all of them are bad guys but watch out for the teenage ones. They roam around the town looking for opportunities to cause trouble. If you see any of them walking around, never stare at them into their eyes, never retaliate if they taunt you with abusive words and get away from the spot as quick as you can.

Taliban
If you ever see a guy with a really long beard and a thick turban snooping around the place, run for your life!
He's going to plant a bomb!

Note: I am not a racist and no racism meant in this post.

Music These Days

Most of the music you get to hear now days is just so lame and clearly displays lack of effort. All of the new artists always fail to entertain me. All these guys (especially rappers) know is to show off their money, cars, and girls in their music videos, get high on drugs and booze and use the word 'nigga' repeatedly in their songs. There are only a few good artists left in this world now and I hope there are many more to come.

Drake
Never in my life have I come across such a boring and dull rapper. Just try listening to his raps, it sounds as if he doesn't even feel like rapping. His songs make me think that somebody woke him up around 4:00 AM and offered him some booze to make the song. All of his songs prove his laziness.

Adam Levine
Maroon 5 has some good songs but admit it, they start sounding irritating over time. The most irritating thing about their lead singer Adam Levine is his high pitched lady-like voice. He sings as if someone is squeezing his ass with a huge monkey wrench. I have an advice for him, he should join an opera instead of being in Maroon 5 (they anyways aren't too successful).

Lil Wayne
Another dumb rapper like the rest of the lot. Looking at him, I sometimes wonder "Is he possessed or something" (with that dumb witch like voice of his). But I am sure that's not true, he's just too high on cocaine
(he looks as high as the Empire State building in his music videos). I hope he gets sent to a mental asylum soon.

Justin Bieber
The most annoying person that the human civilization has ever faced. I agree that no matter how annoying Justin is, we should just leave her alone, she might hit us with her purse, but she just doesn't stop. Justin had crossed the limit when she insulted Metallica. Justin's songs aren't that great either but most of all, its his personality that makes him a loser. Being a loser affects his music in large way too.

T-Pain
I'll be honest, this guy heavily relies on auto-tune for singing. He cant sing well without it. Try hearing his songs and you will notice the auto-tune going on almost till the end of the song. He would actually deserve all the awards and the credit for his chart-topping hits if he had actually sung them.

It really disappoints me that not a single awesome track has been released for the past few months. If some of these guys can't sing well, then why don't they just pick up a guitar or play drums and try mastering it. I wonder what happened to good old rock and roll. I guess the only decent rappers left now are Eminem and 50 Cent.
