Microsoft Windows 9 (Code-named Threshold) Could Be Unveiled in April

It is possible that Microsoft will reveal Windows 9 sooner than we expected. Earlier known as Threshold, Windows 9 may be a lot more than a usual Windows Operating System. Microsoft wants a new version completely different from Windows 8.

It is clear that Windows 8 was a failure, even with the updated Windows 8.1. It is running only on 25 million PCs which is a disaster for Microsoft. So, Threshold may be a harder attempt from Microsoft to compensate for the disappointment of Windows 8.

Sources say that Windows 9 may be unveiled at Build 2014 this April. But it is likely that Microsoft may not start working on it's new Operating System until May.

The release of Windows 9 is expected by April 2015.
